The Fort ORANGE
Fort Orange (Dutch: Fort Oranje) was built as a trading post on theDutch Gold Coast in 1642, near Sekondi. The trading post was enlarged into a fort in 1690. It was joined by an English Fort Sekondi in 1682. It was sold with the rest of the Dutch Gold Coast to the United Kingdom in 1872, and now serves as a lighthouse.

The Fishing Harbour
Also called the Bomsomtwi Sam Fishing Harbour is one of the most attractive fishing harbours in the Sub-Saharan region.
It has a long stretch of walkway with beautiful scenery and fishing activities with both small and large boats.
The Regional Sports Stadium
The Sekondi Sports Stadium (also known as Essipong Stadium) is a multi-purpose stadium in Sekondi-Takoradi, Ghana. It is used mostly for footballmatches and serves as the home stadium of Sekondi Hasaacas FC. Sekondi-Takoradi Stadium hosted some matches during 2008 African Cup of Nations. The stadium has a capacity of 20,000 people and opened in 2008. The stadium looks similar to the Tamale Stadium.

Sekondi-Takoradi, a city comprising the twin cities of Sekondi and Takoradi, is the capital of Sekondi Takoradi Metropolitan District and the Western Region of Ghana. Sekondi-Takoradi is the region's largest city and an industrial and commercial centre, with a population of 445,205 people (2012)
The major industries in Sekondi-Takoradi are timber, marine services, Harbour and railway services and recently discovered crude oil. Sekondi-Takoradi connects by railway to Kumasi, Accra and beyond.
